National Document Register

About

A safe pair of hands for your documents

Who we are, and why we look after the documents that matter most.

The National Document Register is a private document storage service. We exist for a simple reason: the most important documents people own are usually the least well looked after, kept at home where they can be lost, damaged or forgotten, and hardest to find at exactly the moment they are needed.

We are a private service, run independently and answerable to the people who store with us. What we offer is straightforward: your documents, kept genuinely safe, properly recorded, and there when you or your family need them.

Who runs it

Daniel Irwin, Founder and Director of National Document Register

Daniel Irwin

Founder and Director

The National Document Register was founded and is run by Daniel Irwin, who has spent most of his career in estate planning, helping families put their affairs in order.

That work showed him how often the documents that matter most, wills above all, are kept in a drawer at home or with a firm the family cannot trace, and cannot be found when they are needed. He started the National Document Register to fix that. The aim is a service that families and professional firms can rely on for decades, run with the same discipline, record-keeping and accountability as any regulated business.

Daniel is based in South Yorkshire. From there, he and his team serve solicitors, will writers and the wider legal services sector, as well as individuals and families, throughout England & Wales.

National Document Register is a trading name of DJI728 Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 15307546).
